I am trying to connect a Win98 machine to a machine running Win2k Professional using dial-up newtworking. I connect OK but then can see none of the Win2k resources. What am I doing wrong.

By way of background the 2 machines in question have their own modems and sit on the same network with static IP addresses. This is a test to try and identify potential problems. Other forums often feature this question but offer no answers.

Incidentally when I try to connect the other way round using Win98 as the server I cant connect at all. All the passwords I try are rejected.

Any bright ideas.
