John, you have hit the proverbial nail on the head. That is exactly what I mean when I say 'what I don't know'. A good overview of what should be needed has always been lost in VFP - and I believe the exam study guide will be a good pointer.
Interesting to note some of the other threads regarding the 'future' of VFP all say they want 'new' programmers. Yet there, IMHO, has been no 'START HERE' guide ever in VFP (I will probably be proved wrong here - but I have not found one).
Now, when I read your 'stuff' (just my term for the mass information I have yet to assimilate), I have a place to physically reference your material into 'why is this important' files somewhere deep in my pea-pot brain - I read FoxTalk, VFUG, FoxWiki (still confusing to me), etc...
Hopefully, there will be some heed on your call for approval from MS. Some of us do need the 'START HERE' prompts... :-)
