Hello, Al.
No, I don't have any code in LostFocus. And I can't step in the code, because the error trapping routine doesn't trap this error. I know that this error is trappable, but this one doesn't seem to be trapped. The first line in the Cancel button is "SET STEP ON" but isn't executed. The error occurs before the button's click event.
On the other hand, I have to mention that the textbox is bounded to a remote view. The SQL server is MySQL. It seems to me that this is a ODBC driver error, because if I do the following:
1. I don't have any Cancel button.
2. I click in the textbox.
3. I type something in the textbox
4. Without leaving the textbox, I press Escape.
5. The original contents of the textbox is restored and the Update Conflict error occurs. This error cannot be cooled down with TABLEREVERT(.T.,"MyView"), which returns .T. - tablerevert is executed correctly. And then VFP crashes.
I only can hope that the guys at TcX will write an better ODBC driver someday. :(
Thank you anyway for involving in this issue.
