I got this error trying to create an MTDLL. This started after VS SP4 installation, it wasn't giving me problems before.

MSDN has two KB's about this error message but they relate to the use of the APPEND GENERAL command, which does not apply to my case at all.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, in the meantime I'm going to reinstall VS from scratch.
