No. In fact, I was unaware of that particular KB, but that method was proposed by Anders Altberg in a ProFox discussion and is ODBC-based. Thanks for the info.
I decided to rely totally on the Access object model and run "DSN-less". Although I do use DAO/ADO structures managed, apparently, internally in the Access workspace.
