The licensing agreement calls for a copy of SDT per developer using the product - you can distribute the runtime modules on a royalty-free basis in a compiled application. I bought the product once, and distribute the runtime classes with my application to handle repair/validation/reindex operations in the compiled executables from a menu point. Since the user doesn't need the developer capabilities, just the runtime access to the classes that work against the metadata, there's no need to license a copy of SDT per user.

For a single app, at 100 users, that adds $2.99/copy of the app; at 1,000 users, $0.30/copy. Give us a break.
