Here is a twist on interviews. I have had several interviews where you will sit down with a group of programmers who will ask you some very specific questions about how to solve a number of problems. When this has happened to me I tell the group "Yes, I have solved such problems and if hired will gladly solve these problems for you." In every case when this has happened after talking to other members of the FoxPro community in my area, someone will say: "Oh yes! That company is not hiring but they call interviews in the hope to solve their problems".

When I interview with a company I try to ask myself: "Do I really want to work here"?
