>If I have both the keyboard and the scanner attached to my computer, what happens if one person is using the scanner somewhere in the warehouse and at the same time, another person, not knowing about the first person, trys to use the keyboard?
Unless your "warehouse" is a single shelf of merchandise sitting in the same room as the computer, I think you would need a VERY loooong cable to do this ;-)
Have you ever tried to sit two 5-year old kids in front of a keyboard while a word processor is running? That's pretty much what happens.
The scanner acts like a keyboard as well, so all the data comming from it is fed to the program that's currently active on the computer (specifically to the form that's currently active within that program).
There has to be a good reason for your asking this particular question. I'd like to know it so I can help you further.
Thanks!
