We log into the WinNT domain and then into Win9X. If the Win9X username/password is the same as that for the domain the the Win9X happens transparently.

That's kind of what I am afraid of. I know there is a 32 bit DLL call that can be made and therefore it could be called in VFP. I'll keep looking for a 16 bit DLL/FLL that can do the conversion ("thunking").

Ther username is not in an environment variable.
