Lets try a differnet approach. First, when you start the form, do a select to find out how many unique pictures there are, and then, for each one, create an image object in the column, and set its Picture property to the file name of the picture.

To show the correct picture in the grid, use DynamicCurrentControl, that should give you alot less problems.
