Hi Patric,

Thanks for your reply.
I am still not clear what to do. I have a program insert a record to a SQL table. This is insert from ASP page.

I create a SQL - String according to the value user put in and insert the sql - string.

the problem is there is a field(email) , which is nvarChar type. I get a error message when I try to insert a record to email field with characters like )( ! ~ ? / \ " ,

How can I avoid this?
