Here in may land used to say in many year ago that BASIC as like chicken-pox, you get it in child !!! :)
And i think the same of Visual Basic.
In my little professinal career, i already program in several language (Visual and no Visual), but of the three you spoke (Visual FoxPro, Visual Basic, Delphi), i think the Visual FoxPro is the best to make comercial software ...
Delphi - Very Good, but takes time to learn and make a good software.
Visual FoxPro - Good, fast learn. Very good language orientate to databases. On OOP# is now doing a few of the Delphi as doing in version 3.0, but something more fancy and suitable for use.
Visual Basic - Only survey because it have thousand of ActiveX, is not a true database language, doesn´t give easily many space to the programmer.
Ps: I'm a lost son returning home, and now i have found a "House" where there is others like me.
Visual FoxPro will survey
