I'm not doing it beacuse I couldn't standarize it here (many machines can't run the beta), but I know many people is using it to work (mostly for features like intellisense, task lists, etc) to develop VFP6 apps. They just compile with VFP6. Both versions can be on the same machine without much trouble.
