I know we have special code on our sun boxes when going between sun and pcs for imports and exports back and forth that adjust for the DOS / UNIX difference.
Use that alot for SUN Based Oracle extracts getting sent to toooooo many people.
Though I must admit I dont what it is doing but it directly relates to converting from one to the other.
