Yeah I've been thinking that it is probably wise to not be invested in only MS developer products. Delphi looks good from what I've seen and heard and Java probably could not hurt either.

While I don't have a huge investment I am about halfway in the VB learning process so that is my delima. Do I contiue and finish that work? My gut tells me to do it so I probably will but I sure do not to waste any time and effort. I've got too much else to do and learn. In some respects it feels like a crap shoot.

Yes and it is just this kind of stuff that makes me want to invest in other development products.

For me, anyway, my rant is.... how the heck to you keep up much less stay ahead? It would kind of be nice just to catch your breath and at least get even.
