Hallo Cetin, thanks for your help.
Today I found out what the problem is.
The customer did an copy to type xl5 as 850.
modified the Excel file with Excel2000 and save this file in an Excel2000
format. After that he did an append from type xl5.
The EOF is not found. The table runs out of space and I get the exception Error.
But now when I do a copy to type xls as 850
Modify the file with Excel do afterwards the append from type xls I got the same Error. THe Workaround is.
Copy to type xl5 as 850. Modifying with Excel2000 and save in
XL5 (Excel97) format. After that the append from type xl5 works
fine
