good question, and one I've been playing with for a while now.
It seems the best way to deploy is to use a VB executable or similar.
You could just establish a connection to the database ADO or DAO or suchlike then run the scripts or if you are feeling really adventurous, use DMO, Wrox press do a very good book on the subject.
