not my first choice of subject, but i'll tell you what I can.
The MAPI client is established on the machine by installing Outlook.
Outlook Express is only a POP3 client, Outlook is a MAPI client.
Having done this a MAIL icon should appear in the Control Panel.
Quite how you connect SQL to this I don't know, so I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if anyone else does!
