I recently ran across this problem when a memory stick started to fail on the developer workstation, and again with a power failure.
The files, after editing, would go into an infinite loop and create huge temp files in the /forms/ directory, requiring a forced halt to FoxPro.
The only workable solution I have foound so far is to delete the offending SCX/SCT file and restore a back up copy.
At the end of each day, I save a copy of all my forms to another hard drive, in addition to the nightly backups (which can backup a corrupted file)
If there is a recovery utility somewhere, I would love to try it.
