First of all, I added the < pre > and < /pre > tags (use it without spaces) to your diagrams so they can be seen correctly. You can enter those tags whenever you'll put code examples or text diagrams.
Now, onto the problem. I reproduced this setup without problems. I'm pretty sure it is not related with the filter. The only thing I suspect possible for this effect is that somewhere in your code is a ? statement that is making the form scroll. Even in that case, I don't understand why the portion over the grid does not, but you can verify that.
Again, if you can send the form and table somehow, maybe I can find the problem.
