Well, if you upgraded to vfp5 then this isn't so bad. You create remote views that duplate the file and fields structure of the 2 dbfs you want to move to SQL and then save the changes. Voila! You would probably need to name the remote views slightly different from the dbf's but you could move the dbf's elsewhere after the conversion and name the views what the dbf's were named. Everything "should" <grin> work ok.
