mmm. I agree. VB will always have a fair amount of market share (whether it's VB6 or .NET) but will never become as widely accepted as C++ or Java (which I understand is rather "C"-like). VFP and Delphi are niche markets so you're not going to be overwhelmed by job offerings using these tools although they will always have some opportunities. C# may or may not become a sought after skill. I recall how much MS was pushing J++ and now look where it is.
