No. Delphi is more complicated language, so you require to start from zero throwing away all that you know from VFP. Learn Pascal language, than learn Delphi. Programming on Delphi also requires to know well programming itself. It is also very good if you will have some experiense in Assembler, this will help you understand a lot of things in Delphi.
