Here was the question:
If someone wants to change profession and get a job as a programmer within next 6-12 months, what should he study?
If somebody is changing professions to programming, it is self-evident that \
s/he *is* new to VFP, or any other language for that matter.
A simple reading of JK's message would immediately indicate that he was speaking *on behalf* of somebody else. Therefore, the amount of experience JK has is not relevant. And clearly, based on his (JK's) post, he thought it prudent to seek the opinions of others.
Now, onto your post and my direct replies...
>Hi John - been awhile.
Yes, let's keep it that way...
>>...why anybody new to development would be wasting his/her time learning VFP...
>
>John Kang is not new to VFP.
So????

There are infinitely more ways to waste useful time than so-called time wasted on learning ANY development language.
>
Yes...your reply is perfect evidence of that....
>Just thought I'd waste some time and drop you a "howdy" < BG >
I think before *wasting* ones time, you should take time to read the whole thread as opposed to going in at mid-stream and snipping replies.
