The copy type xl5 does have a limitation of 16,000 some odd rows.

Search this site for alternate methods to accomplish this task.
I have seen something about copying the data out as a FOXBase table and
letting Excel read that data in. One technique that I use is to employ
the Application.DataToClip() method. That will copy the data of a table
into the windows clipboard that can then be pasted into Excel.
