Ed, do you have any recommendations for running a VFP .exe under the lowest possible NT OS priority? I am writing a simple service to run under NT/2K that will do re-indexing. I intend to write it as a service so it can run without user intervention and will survive reboots.

Also, if you have any ideas on how to make the (service) .exe run a timer without eating CPU, I'm all ears, as they say. :)
