Well what is supposed to call the GetFldState process is the code in the Deleted Event. But the problem is that I can click the delete record mark until I am blue in the face and the Deleted Event never fires. I even put just a messagebox in it to see if the code is fired and no box ever came up. For some reason the Delete Mark is not firing off the Deleted Event like it is suppose to, you got me why and nothing I have tried will get it to perform like expected. I do have a Pop-up menu tied to the RightMouse click that will allow them to delete the record. It calls the method that will delete the record and check field state (the same one that is supposed to be called by the Deleted Event) and that works just fine. The Save and Cancel buttons are enabled like they are supposed to. What I like about the mark is that it is a visual clue that they have deleted the record.
