Those national totals aren't so bleak for MS as some specific regions. It looks like they've got 29.2% of the database market share for SQL Server over twice as much as Sybase. VB is the #3 development language with 10.6% market share. Encouraging for the MS developer but I think that MS has a long way to go in the enterprise market.
