I have a one field cursor (mycursor). I have a one column grid.

I set the RECORDSOURCETYPE of the grid to "alias"
I set the RECORDSOURCE of the grid to "mycursor"
I do not set the CONTROLSOURCE to the grid column, yet it displays the column for my cursor.

So, does this mean that vfp knows what I meant? Or am i just lucky?
