I'm automatically generating and sending an email based on user clicking on the submit button on a form using "mailto:".

The problem is, the browser issues a warning about sending the email. This is not a problem (I'm not trying to be sneeky) but I need to trap if the user cancels or aborts the sending of the email. Is there a way? TIA.
