Sorry Diane, I am not familiar with the MAPI control, I used a reference to the CDO dll & did all my mail processing thru the Session & Folders objects.

I tried to slap together a quick example of this, but the CDO dll's seem to be all FUBAR'ed under win2000, so I couldn't get it to work :(
I hate to think what will happen next time we have to compile & redistribute some of our applications to our clients. Thanx microsoft.

I had a quick look at the MAPI controls & they did not appear to have any methods for navigating the mail folders. Sorry but I don't have any further suggestions right now :(
