I have an old FoxPro Windows 2.5 application and one of my clients is updating some of his machines from Win9x to Windows ME. I am aware of PerVMFiles=nnn modification in the SYSTEM.INI file. I have done this modification, something like the following:

[386Enh]
perVMFiles=250
...

But it still doesn't work ("Too many files open" message).
Before Windows ME a setting of FILES=200 in the CONFIG.SYS file was enough...

Is there any other issues I should be aware of?
