I don't quite understand the above sentence. I'm thinking that you meant to say that being labeled (as opposed to not being labelled?) seems bad to you.

Is that a proper reading?

If so I'd respond by asking why you let the labels that others place on 3rd parties influence your thinking so much? Goodness, I could say just about anything about anyone then and as long as I put the word 'extremist' on it you'd believe me? I hardly think you'd do that.

This is kind of my point.. Rather than let other do our thinking for us let's reclaim our ability to think for ourselves.

You and I both know that not all liberals are 'bad' nor are all conservatives 'good' or visa versa. THough I have my doubts about liberals.. <g>

In essence you have made my point.
