I'm sure I can't go into too much detail without getting nasty internal emails, but based on my level of Internet access the last couple of days at work, I'm much more inclined to believe that some Microsoft employee screwed up the DNS servers.

That may or may not be the case. I've heard all kinds of rumors. Given Microsoft's past business practices, the amount of bad press they have recieved lately, and the $200 million ad compaign they are launching regarding the reliability of their servers, I am less inclined to believe anything they say.

I am no idiot either, and I don't believe everything I read. I've heard conflicting stories, and I was wondering what the truth was. As far as I'm concerned, the jury is still out...
