Here is a brief explanation of my problem. We have created a dll wich performe some task. That dll run on a Windows 2000 Server in COM+. Now I must install some clients machine that will use that component. To do so, in COM+ I have created the msi file which will install the component on the client. In that installation we choose the option "Application proxy - Install on other machine to enabled access to this machine".

On the client machine, I have run the msi file which install the component successfuly. The problem is, it works on one machine (win95) and it is not working on others (win95 an win98). I did all the same step on each machine. The error I got is "OLE error 8007011C" wich does not say much. It seems like it cannot find de dll on the server. I am able to ping the server and the same WindowsNT user have been use on each machine to make the test.

The question is: why is it working on one machine and not the others?

Somebody has an idea???
