How to fix corrupted records?

My client has just done a pack and reindex (a utility that they can run) and the corrupted records appear to be gone, at least the ones I wrote down. I would rather of fixed the data, as the data is now gone.

I believe they would have shown at the same position each time. The free table was ordered by and I was doing seeks with key values to write down some of the corrupted record keys. I had to go back to them several times to revalidate the information. I know this problem is not "fixed". So what else can you tell me?
