Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the help given so far.
This application if giving the same results. Does'nt matter if it's EXE or in the development environment.
No conflict in the class libraries names.
This is a really complex situation that I have over here.
What I'd like you to tell me (if you have an explanation on this) is why an application can work well while being executed and why the same application could freeze on another execution.
In those different executions nothing changed in the way the application was used.
Based on your experiences can you explain this? Can you find other reasons besides the ones that you already gave me?
Could it be a problem with a modal form losing the focus?
If it is a modal form losing the focus what can I do so that situation does'nt occur?
Let me tell you what I found to unfreeze my application. For this to work I have to let a toolbar open at all time in my application.
When that application freezes (caused by building a query) I click on a command button on the toolbar to lauch another form and then I click that same button again to hide that form.
After I did that sequence the form that was frozen is now unfrozen. At this point I can continue building my Query filter.
