I don't know the cause of your particular problem, but I wonder if you have thought about the possibility to copy the resultset to a FOX2X table and let Crystal Reports use this file directly, since Crystal Reports has native support for FOX2X tables.

Using ODBC can be troublesome (as you've have discovered) and be a lot slower than using FOX2x Tables.
