Hi All,

This topic was discussed in Thread #455929 about a month ago.

I have come across the same problem and wonder if anyone is able to offer a explanation of the problem.

I have a view as the control source of the grid.
I apply a filter to the view.
If there are no records in the filtered view the following happens :
- No records are displayed (this is correct)
- I remove the filter
- Still no records are displayed.

I have LOCATE'd, SKIP'd, GO TOP/BOTTOM, COUNT'ed, SCAN'ed - all of which move the record pointer but still no records!

If I SKIP beyond BOF() or EOF() and generate an error, the records will be displayed.

If I BROWSE NOWAIT the view after removing the filter, the records will be displayed.

Anyone got any light to shed on the subject ?

TIA

Liam
