>I was wondering if other development platforms (VB, Delphi, Java, etc.) had the same type of application frameworks/wizards that we enjoy in the FoxPro world. It's pretty obvious that some of our FoxPro frameworks would fit nicely with .NET. Just curious how much competition would be coming from other tools.
Joel;
Was it dBase II or dBase III that had a wizard called Genifer? A wizard is a wizard. If you use one you will be wizzed. Some people I know think they are developers because they can use a wizard. I do not consider a framework to be on the same level as a wizard. Application frameworks will speed up development of professional applications and allow additions or modifications. To modify or add to wizard code could be a lifes work. Try using the VB wizard for "real fun".
