Perhaps ADO was not the best choice. I am relatively new to doing things this way. We have previously been just opening tables or using the DE.

VFPCOM RSToCursor() has a problem converting numeric data types, which makes it pretty useless IMO. Check out RS2DBF on the Code Samples page of the Visual FoxPro site. If you are returning large datasets, you'll notice a pretty hefty performance hit for the conversion. At least that's my experience with recent testing.
