>>I am attempting to install a remote SQL Server into Enterprise Manager. This is SQL Server 2000 running on Windows 2000 Server. The client is SQL 2000 Ent. Manager, also running on W2K Server. I can see the remote server and browse directories. However, when I try to register the remote server, I get an error back "SQL Server does not exist or access denied". I'm trying to use the SA account. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Yes, TCPIP and 1433 on both. I rebooted the server this morning and everything worked...for a while. Now I have some people that can connect and others that can't.
