Could be and perhaps even more rare the farther north you go but I think it did happen. In truth it is sad that it happened at all. I remember seeing Washington in flames when they rioted after MLK was killed. Pretty scary stuff and what a horrible way to honor a man devoted to peaceful change. All of these kinds of actions do not happen from people that are at peace with the way things are.
