This is usually due to a suspended but not cancelled program. In this situation teh FXP is still loaded in memory and is therefore readonly. You can usually fix this with CANCEL, CLEAR PROGRAM in the command window. If it is due to VFP's memory getting clobbered by something then it is possible that the only fix will be a restart of VFP.
