I have an object that when configured (per MS docs) works fine as a remote com object; but that requires autmgr32.exe to be running; and (at least) under terminal server; autmgr32 cannot be converted to a service...

So I thought Dcom -- but I cannot get it to work; the best I get is "access denied"

All i want is to have a few objects on a remote machine and contact those objects from my apps via IP or \\name

Can someone guide me thru how to set up the server & client side to get this working without using autmgr32?
