I think this is a PC speed issue (well maybe)

Basically 2.6 wasn't designed for pc's over 333 mhz
it sometimes skips lines of code when running on a fast processor

There is a patch available from MS but I remember reading that download sites for it were getting scarce.

I am sure someone else here can tell you where to find it!
