Mike and all.....

>When I was in school I was told that all my rights were set aside when I >walked in the building.

First of all thanks for all your support. As you might guess I'm pretty upset about all of this. Not to mention the fact that knowning how the rumor mill goes in any school I'm sure that my daughter (straight A Beta club student never been in any trouble) is in for a hard time and while I think I will investigate legal actions what Mike has mentioned just may be the case.

I dug up her student handbook and it says about what Mike has said. The problem, as I see it, is the issue of "probable casuse" In my initial contact with the local school board chairperson they have indicated that legally the word of one student DOES give them probable cause. Again, I understand this if it were claims of a bomb or gun but claims of drugs should require more evidence. If this is true there needs to be some serious work done. It just is not right.

And I just can not get over this male police man running his hands up and down my daughter. I could chew and spit out nails when I think of it.

Whew.... I feel better < vbg > thanks again.
