Asif,
I'm sure I attended the same .net seminar (Vancouver BayShore hotel about a week ago?) and although there was a big crowd and I was at the back as far as I know the only reference to VFP by the presenter was an enigmatic answer to someone's question regarding VFP's inclusion.

The precise words used were "The fox is in the box". Now this could be open to all sorts of interpretation (the box is a coffin or the box is the software distribution box, or ...')

By the way, most questions seemed to be coming from thoroughly disilluioned VBers and incredulous C++ programmers, the former being told that they will have to learn a lot of new stuff (again...) and the latter being told that since the both languages will condense down to the same code there will be no advantage to using C++ over VB.

Seems like MS have succeeded in upsetting everyone except you know who...
