The problem is that sometimes the source cursor will be created by an SQL Select statement with an ORDER BY statement and the common routine would not know the SQL ORDER BY clause. Of course, in that case, the records would be sorted in correct physical order. Anyway, this route was more complex than what I came up with. I forgot what the solution was--if you're interested, I'll look it up.
