For my first DevCon, I spent all possible time where I would run into other FoxFolk that I wanted to meet. That meant hanging in the hotel bar, by the pool or pool snackbar, or eating in the buffet restaurant. I never left the hotel.

When I first arrived on Saturday I went out to the pool and immediately ran into the German contingent who had come in early to adjust to the time zone. I had studied all possible online pictures and I just looked for a table full of geeky-looking folks who look vaguely familiar.

Of course my big goof was mistaking Paul Maskens for Jim Booth! ;-)
